Stock #1883 - Fifth in a Series. The Ideal Series pays homage to the artwork of renowned equine artist Orren Mixer (1920-2008) and his famed “ideal” horse breed paintings. Over the course of Mixer’s career, seven horse breed associations commissioned him to paint their breed’s ideal. These images have cemented Mixer’s place as one of history’s preeminent equine artists.
Formed in 1954, the Pony of the Americas Club, Inc (POAC) was created by breed founder Les Boomhower to promote a “using type” pony for youth. His vision of a child-sized mount that possessed versatility, intelligence, and beautifully-patterned coats has blossomed into a registry of over 50,000! Ranging in height from 46 to 56 inches, POAs have a balanced appearance and Appaloosa coloring. While their Appaloosa lineage is apparent, Arabian, Welsh, Native American pony, and Quarter Horse bloodlines also contributed to giving the POA its trademark look of a refined “little horse.” Traditional size, made by Breyer, 8½"L x 7½"H, for ages 8 & up.

Stock #10038 - There’s nothing more powerful than when a wish comes true – and Thoroughbred racehorse Cody’s Wish is a living embodiment of dreams fulfilled. Not only has this bay stallion by Curlin proven himself as a consistent winner on the track, but also a symbol of hope for a special young man.
Cody’s Wish was foaled in 2018. That same year he met Cody Dorman, a Kentucky boy living with a genetic disorder. As part of his wish experience, Cody met a racehorse when a trip to Gainsborough Farm was arranged for him by Make-A-Wish Ohio, Kentucky and Indiana. During that visit he connected with a weanling that walked right up to Cody and put his head in his lap. Inspired by the tear-jerking sights that day, the owners named the colt Cody’s Wish.
The 2022 Breeders' Cup Dirt Mile was an especially emotional day for the Dorman family, where the horse’s achievements and Cody’s inspiring story gained national attention. Following his win, Cody’s Wish received the 2022 Secretariat Vox Populi Award, which recognizes racehorses whose stories and achievements resound with the public.
A €10,000 donation is being made to Make-A-Wish Ohio, Kentucky and Indiana, a nonprofit organization whose mission is to create life-changing wishes for children with critical illnesses. When a wish is granted, a child replaces fear with confidence, sadness with joy, and anxiety with hope!
Traditional size, made by Breyer, 12¼"L x 9¼"H, for ages 8 & up.

Stock #1870 - When barrel racer Amberley Snyder was left paralyzed from the waist down after a car accident, it seemed like her riding days were over. Instead, she was back in the saddle just four months later. Her mount? A towering black Quarter Horse named ATP Power. Traditional size, 1/9 scale, includes removable stand. Made by Breyer, 12"L x 10"H, for ages 8 & up.

Not only did Amberley ride again, she and Power went on to clock their personal best time, and in 2015 they were voted the fan-favorite exemption to compete in The American – the world’s richest one-day rodeo. In 2019, Amberley’s moving story was made into the Netflix® film, “Walk. Ride. Rodeo.” A star himself, Power played himself in the racing scenes, has graced the pages of magazines, and has even appeared on TV shows like “Yellowstone.”
A portion of the proceeds from Power’s model will be donated to the Amberley Snyder Freedom Foundation, which “provides opportunities for those with special needs and disabilities providing confidence driven activities as well as life changing support.

Stock #1868 - Fourth in a Series. The Ideal Series pays homage to the artwork of renowned equine artist Orren Mixer and his famed “ideal” horse breed paintings. Over the course of Mixer’s career, seven horse breed associations commissioned him to paint their breed’s ideal. These images have cemented Mixer’s place as one of history’s preeminent equine artists.
Orren Mixer’s famed painting “The Appaloosa,” was commissioned by the ApHC and was publicly unveiled in 1981. It prominently features a handsome chestnut blanket Appaloosa stallion. Standing watch over a herd of mares and foals amidst a pastoral landscape, this painting spotlights the Appaloosa breed’s many coat colors and patterns. The original painting can be found hanging in the ApHC’s offices in Moscow, Idaho. For his work with this colorful breed, Mixer was inducted into the ApHC’s Hall of Fame in 1998. Traditional Series, 1/9 scale, made by Breyer, 11"L x 9"H, for ages 8 & up.
